In this example we concentrated on her torso. Sarah made sure she was well covered.. not only did she lay flat in the mud but she took handfuls and smeared it well.. then she laid down on the white sheet and raised her arms and legs a bit to concentrate the weight on her torso.. and wriggled and rolled her hips a little to fill out the width of them. Her body, being heavily loaded, made a very bold impression and the way the mud ridged up when she got up off the sheet very much resembles mountain ridges.
Sarah does not have much meat on her but apparently she has enough as the 'female' does seem to emerge from this form.
These sheets are dried now and all the big thick clumps of mud have cracked off and fallen away, like the oil prints done last year, the photo will ultimately be the record of these. I have not chucked the muddy sheets yet and the one to one print is hard to toss as it seems to have the presence and weight of a real person.
