Another 'rofessional' job.
there was a time in America>I'm told< when a company man was a valued thing. Now I'm not one, but when I see these 'suits' driving off to work I sometimes feel envy for the new car, the steady work and beni's. Well at a certain company I have whored, er ah I mean worked for, the thing to do is whack people right before they make the cut for retirement. A certain person was 'screwed' by his company and other employees, friends, commissioned me to make something called a 'management award for service', a golden screw!
I made it, about a foot and a half long and put it on a wood base, mounted horizontally, with the tip raised like a missile launcher. It didn't stay on the base long, I was told later that people kept taking it off and chasing others around holding the thing like a giant penis! Now just for the record, I have nothing against this company and the actions of the employees tells what a fine group it really was. It is a fine old company and I use their products on a daily basis.
