face of a mermaid

Having never seen a 'real' mermaid in person.. I designed my own. Of course it is made up from relics of images seen in pop culture. I started with a 'girl's head',more or less. Instead of flowing hair she has ridges for stability and a full forehead for ramming sharks. Her eyes are large and deeply set, her nose is 'fish-a-fied' which means slimmed down and smoothed into her mouth without the nostril flare out. Her mouth recedes and joins into her jawline in a set of gills on either side. Her chin is minimized. My goal here wasn't to make another 'pretty girl' mermaid, there are enough of those, here she is a little 'darker' and more serious and if she opened her mouth you might see a row of razor sharp shark style teeth. When this one of these babes grabs a sailor or a surfer.. there is no happy ending bathed in the sunset.
