firewood couple

Almost a commission, it was made from a chunk of maple given to me by a gentleman who had a sentimental connection to the chunk. He left it up to me and asked that if I carved something he'd like to see it and perhaps...... buy it? I'm not getting ahead of myself, it is basically 'firewood' but it does impart a bit of feeling, no?
